Tijan Dorwana is a master Birifor gyil musician, builder, and teacher based out of Medie, Ghana, a suburb of Accra; he is originally from the village of Saru located in Ghana's Northern Region. Dorwana has performed across the world as a soloist and also with the Ghana Dance Ensemble and the Kalifi Dance Ensemble.
